Recruiting materials can
be obtained from Career Services on your campus or the library
at your school. Prudential Capital may be scheduled for
an information session at your school. Click on "Campus
Visits" to view scheduled dates.
As its general practice, Prudential does not employ individuals with F-1 Visa Status,
nor does it sponsor individuals for the purpose of obtaining
H-1 Visas.
- On campus: Prudential Capital
Group will be interviewing from September to December, depending
on your school's schedule.
- Off campus: Prudential
Capital Group will interview throughout the course of the
year, based on staffing needs.
- Approximately 6 Associates
and 10 Analysts, depending upon staffing needs.
- Most offices recruit to
meet their annual specific staffing needs; however, referrals
can be made to other Prudential Capital regional offices
if a candidate has an interest in placement in another region.
- Investment professionals
at Prudential Capital focus on a full range of middle-market
companies in traditional industries. Prudential Capital's
investment mandate broadly covers all levels of the private
capital structure in, essentially, traditional industries.
However, in addition to corporate finance activity on a
geographic basis, certain offices do operate within industry-specific
mandates in order to maximize Prudential's investment performance,
such as Dallas – energy and utility investments, and Chicago –
international investments.
- New Associates complete
Prudential Capital's in-house Credit Training program. This
is an intensive seven-week program that leverages the expertise
and skills of our senior investment professionals, and uses
actual deals to provide a relevant and practical foundation
for new Associates.
- New Analysts complete training
with other first-year analysts. This is an intensive one-week
program that introduces candidates to the basics of credit
analysis through case studies and practical application.
On an annual basis, all Analysts participate in a three-day
continuing education conference.
- There is no formal rotation
within Prudential Capital, as each regional office recruits
candidates independently. However, as placement opportunities
arise, qualified employees may interview for positions in
other regional offices.
- Business casual. However,
when meeting with clients and prospects, business attire
is expected.
